Where others see obstacles, I see opportunities.

When confusion and overwhelm set it, I sit down and create a plan of action.

As a career strategist and coach, I work with clients one on one + create products so I can help you do the exact same thing.

Hey, I’m Jenn and I help people land new jobs + get sh*t done.

About Jenn Walker Wall and Work Wonders Coaching

My biggest pet peeve is watching creative, talented and ambitious people struggle to make progress.

When it comes to managing your work and career, I can help!

Thinking you’d like to work with me or join our community?

Here’s what you’d probably like to know:

  • My favorite question to ask is, “How can we make this easy?”
  • My best quick tip? Shorten your resume + cover letter. It’s probably too long. Trust me.
  • Whatever habit you’re trying to implement, 15 minutes a day is enough to get started.
  • I’ve spent hours (and hours) on search + hiring committees and I love pouring over people’s experiences.
  • Yes, the rumors are true. I make an *amazing* roasted chicken.

Career Coaching + Hiring + Project Management

When you work with me, you benefit from all of my experience — not just the few months I spent in coaching school!

I provide strategic + client driven one on one sessions that emphasize support and accountability for your work and career goals.

In a sense, all of my services are custom. There are no cookie cutter options here!

You’ll get the clarity and insight you need, the benefit of a consultant who has sat on the other side of the table evaluating candidates, and my favorite strategies for actually getting sh*t done.

(Because all the strategy in the world doesn’t matter if it’s not implemented.)

My work experience.

I’ve worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Lesley University, Amnesty International and Harvard University. Currently, I work at the Sloan School of Management at MIT and teach sociology at Lesley University.

My B.A. in Sociology is from Simmons College and M.A. in Applied Sociology is from UMass Boston.

In the last few years, I’ve bounced back and forth between hiring + on-boarding, research, project management, and teaching.

My approach

My experience in research and sociology informs my practice of working with clients to dive deep into their experience and skills – collecting as much data as we can to understand their development + trajectory. Then, we’ll strategically communicate your talents based on the types of jobs you’d like to explore.

And since our careers don’t happen in a vacuum, we’ll make sure that you’re having fun, taking care of yourself + implement work-life balance strategies along the way.
